New York Times best-selling author of For the Thrill of It
Finalist, Edgar Allan Poe Award Finalist, Arthur Miller Institute Prize Simon Baatz, born in London and educated at York, first moved to the United States to study the history of science at the University of Pennsylvania. He taught American Studies at universities in Britain before taking up a research position in the history of medicine at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In 2006 he moved to New York to teach American history at CUNY. Principato-Young Entertainment, a film and television company based in Beverly Hills, has optioned his history of the Leopold-Loeb case, For the Thrill of It.
